Do you honestly think Barack Obama controls the economy?

  3. crash.override says:

Actually, it’s Congress who needs debt management counseling.

i would put him threw some economics classes first.

  5. NONE says:

They are not about to do that. Most of them believe in the same Keynesian model that Obama is using anyway.

Both side could use a course in basic math. We have to be the only country so stupid to borrow money to give away it to other countries. Talk about a bunch of suckers.

I suppose it is too much to expect for you to understand that Congress, not the POTUS, is responsible for spending bills. The House is given the responsibility for taxes and both houses have to approve the bill. The constitution spells it all out. You have to read more than the 2nd, 10th 14th amendments to know that though.

I can think of something of 0bamas that should be cut off that would be much more helpful.
To quote the Queen of Hearts- off with his head.

ALL of the Presidents after Andrew Jackson
agreed to policies that favor the GREEDY Bankers,
    rather than WE THE PEOPLE.

The national debt was never intended to be paid off
the goal is to totally bankrupt the entire world and
have the Bankers in charge of everything because
of the default. Its a sick & twisted plot to take over the world!

No. Current spending isn’t hurting our economy. Over-investment in a real estate market that grew much faster than the population, turning real estate into a giant Ponzi scheme, did. I don’t blame Obama for that; I blame Republican policies from the first half of last decade for that.

Government spending helps the economy grow by providing revenue during economic downturns. Cutting spending only benefits the economy by reducing the possibility of future tax hikes to address growing public debt. Republicans risk hurting the economy more than Obama’s spending ever did by pushing to reduce the government revenue stream while our economy is still weak from the recent recession.

Conservatives need to have a better appreciation for the situation Obama inherited. Government spending was out of control, economic recession was out of control, and tax rates and interest rates had almost no wiggle room to work with.

Would our economy improve dramatically if Congress ? . . . . . abolished the Federal Reserve?

Yes. In a heartbeat. Our dollars would increase in value overnight.
