Problem is he wouldn’t get past the first step of counseling. . . . admitting the problem.
Wow. First Conservatives where upset due to President Obama was cutting spending. Now they are upset about him spending money on United States citizens. Makeup your minds. Is he spending to much are to little.
The argument over the debt ceiling is to pay the bills that Congress has ALREADY authorized, not something that has been proposed for the future.
And, if you track government spending over the last 10 years, domestic spending has been level, while Defense spending has gone through the roof. And, the tax burden on Americans is the lowest it has been in decades. And so are revenues to the government. And that is the problem. Spending under Bush for unpaid wars, tax cuts that didn’t create jobs, and a prescription drug plan that also was not paid for.
