Credit card companies will go after you no matter where you are. If you can’t pay your bills the interest will pile up, over limit fees will kick in and they WILL CALL YOU.

You should probably have your physician have a letter sent to your creditors informing them of your hospitalization. Some creditors are merciless and could care less though. . .
