You could try debtstoppers. com. There are a lot of different places you can go online. I once used cook county consolidation. I paid 130 a month for 2 years on about 2500 owed. I used another one a few years ago and I was paying 235 a month. But I owed 8 grand then.

It’s really unlikely you will get a decent consolidation loan.

See let’s say you owe $10,000 to 10 different people. Each company you owe money to is only risking $1,000 if you default.

You say you have horrible credit which is an indication that you have made slow or late payments and perhaps have even defaulted on some. So what incentive does a company have to help you out? Let’s say that one company consolidates half of your debt. Now you owe one company $5,000. Their liability is five times what it was before you consolidated. They are going to have to charge you an insane interest rate to justify the risk you pose to them.

The best advice I can give you is to figure out who is charging you the most interest. Then make every effort to pay down that debt, making minimum payments to everyone else. Once that debt is settled, move on to the next debt until they are all paid off.

Consider doing a yard sale to sell of crap you don’t need. Cut back on everything you spend on to avoid getting further into debt. If all that is still not enough consider a debt counseling service. But be very careful, they can be more trouble than they are worth.

Just keep working at it, pay as much as you can when you can.

Consolidation is viewed as worse than a bankruptcy by most creditors.

You can also check out www. prosper. com. No guarentee that you will get a better rate there, but I would bet you could get a loan for a rate better than you have on your credit cards atleast.
