You probably can not but you could try your own bank first and if you have a good relationship there they might lend you a bit of money and deduct the payments from your checking account.

My heart does go out to you.

Have you seriously considered going voluntarily bankrupt? You may be able to reduce the impact a bit by getting a judgment on a percentage of the debt.

More importantly, if you have this option weighed up, it might let you negotiate repayment terms with your creditors (you’ll know what the ‘worst case’ is) and you’ll avoid going into stupid arrangements with loan sharks – where you’ll just end up worse off.

Do you have one major creditor out of those you have? You may be able to negotiate with that one and say “look, I had bad luck here but you know I was a good payer. If you can bring this money (other debts) into a consolidated loan, I can pay it off like this (insert your answer here). ” If you have fair credit and your creditor realises there is a risk of you going bankrupt and making them stand in line, they’re more likely to negotiate.

There are experts in this field who can do the negotiation if you don’t feel confident. Could be well worth the money if you choose carefully.
